RECORD BREAKING RADIOTHON! $80,123!

The Basement Dwellers came through to help WJCU and Jumpin' Joe's Basement Show break many radiothon records during WJCU Radiothon '25!

The moment WJCU reached it's radiothon goal of $70,000! It happened with 2 minutes left to go in the show during Jumpin' Joe's Basement Show, which broadcast live from the studios of WJCU on February 22, 2025.

Many records were broken during this year's WJCU Radiothon, and we're not talking about smashing 45s of "Honey" by Bobby Goldsboro! Here are some of the records that were broken for both WJCU and JJBS!

• Most raised during the first 24 hours of WJCU Radiothon: $17,000

• Most raised in one hour during JJBS: $4,365

• The single largest pledge during JJBS: $1,000

• The single largest pledge in WJCU Radiothon history: $5,000

• Most raised during Power Hour: $4,302

• Most raised (total) during JJBS: $14,313.40

• Most raised (total) during WJCU Radiothon: $80,123!

That's at least 7 new Radiothon records established during this year's radiothon!
