Jumpin' Joe Madigan is heading to the new WJCU Hall of Fame!
WJCU general manager Jasen Sokol surprised Jumpin' Joe with the special announcement during the August 24th broadcast of Jumpin' Joe's Basement Show.
Jumpin' Joe will join legends like Bill Peters as a member of the WJCU inaugural class of 2024 on October 5, 2024, exactly 21 years to the date that Jumpin' Joe first introduced himself on the air on WJCU.

Jumpin' Joe joined WJCU in October of 2003 as an apprentice on Vinyl Venue. He would go to start Retro Radio on January 18, 2004, and would continue hosting the show for 15 years until May of 2019, when he started Jumpin' Joe's Basement Show.
Since 2004, Jumpin' Joe has helped raise over $75,000 for WJCU during the annual radiothons.
The WJCU Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on the evening of Saturday October 05 on the campus of John Carroll University. Tickets will be available to the public soon. Other inductees will also be announced soon.
